Calligraphy is a an ancient art that produces beautiful lettering or interesting designs. Calligraphy can be used on official documents, invitations, and anywhere that could use a classy, artistic touch. Every culture has some kind of calligraphy and even computer calligraphy has been developed.

Computer calligraphy is when a computer uses special fonts that mimic natural handwriting. This use for calligraphy is very popular for wedding invitations and other jobs where there is a lot of writing involved.

English Calligraphy

There are many different styles of English calligraphy. Some are still popular and used often for invitations, diplomas, or other documents. Other styles are quite ancient and can be seen in manuscripts or on many cathedrals and other landmarks around Europe.

Hebrew calligraphy is an ancient and respected art. There are many laws and guidelines for creating Hebrew calligraphy suitable for holy texts. However, there are much less stringent rules for creating casual Hebrew calligraphic correspondences.
